Darren also knew from his unique life experiences that the biggest obstacles he faced were in fact the greatest gifts he ever received – though he didn’t feel that way when he was going through them. Darren himself is a study in transformation. He grew up as a fat kid, but shed his “husky sized Toughskins” and has gone on to complete several Ironman triathlons. He also faced many personal and financial challenges, which he successfully overcame. Darren knew firsthand that these tough times were the best growth experiences, and that because of them, he had been given a gift: the unique ability to help people overcome their own challenges and be better off for the experience.
Thus, the mission of The Kavinoky Law Firm is to empower its clients to appreciate that the seemingly worst events in their lives – such as being arrested – can be the catalyst for deep, meaningful, positive change.
Sometimes that positive change means exploring alternative sentences, or, in an appropriate case, arranging for time in a treatment center in lieu of time in jail.
